WSFP and the PCS Foundation, Inc. Hold a Surgical Outreach Activity in Oriental Mindoro

On April 16-17, 2023, the World Surgical Foundation Philippines in partnership with the Philippine College of Surgeons Foundation, Inc and Oriental Mindoro Local Government Unit conducted a 2-day surgical outreach activity that benefitted a total of 101 indigent patients in need of life-changing surgical treatments.

During this activity held at the Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital, the Mission team performed a total of 59 major surgeries and 42 minor surgeries.

The surgical outreach activities were made possible in partnership with the following government and non-governmental organizations: Oriental Mindoro Provincial Hospital, PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO, GMA Kapuso Foundation, Parang Beach Resort, Infinity Farm, Prosweal Healthcare, Corbridge, GDM Philippines, Ms. Wennie Bico of PDG Lion; our partner medical societies - Philippine College of Surgeons Foundation Inc, Philippine College of Surgeons-Southern Tagalog Chapter, Philippine College of Surgeon Surgery for the Underserved Regions and for Education Commission (PCS - SURE), Philippine Society of General Surgeons, Philippine Society of Anesthesiologists, Inc.(PSA), Philippine Society of Pediatric Surgeons(PSPS), Operating Room Nurses Association of the Philippines(ORNAP).
